Holiday Happiness

Our first Christmas in South Dakota was definitely a memorable one. We got 15 inches of snow & hunkered down in our new home just in time for a "White Christmas." There's nothing like waking up & looking out the window to see a fresh blanket of snow on Christmas morning!

(Note: Greg shoveled our walkway & driveway & within an hour it was back to looking like it did before he started. Looks like he'll have to ask for a snow blower from Santa next year.)
And even though we were snowed in for the holiday, we made the most of it & had ourselves a Merry Little Christmas. Santa was still able to make it through the blizzard to bring presents & it was such a joy seeing Caleigh get excited opening up gifts. Again, gotta love Christmas morning!! One of the best presents we received was being able to spend it with our new baby boy. Chance is such a good little baby. He's a good eater, loves to sleep & makes us melt every time he smiles. He was definitely the best stocking stuffer!!
2009 is just about gone, & not only is it the end of another year, but it is also the end of a decade. There have been ups and downs the last 10 years, but the end of this decade has brought us much happiness & many blessings which we hope & pray continues into the next decade.

We wish you all a prosperous, healthy, bright & happy new year. Welcome 2010!
